Nokia has released another firmware update for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and . After Nokia received a huge number of requests for that one, they also released a major firmware update for Nokia 5530 XpressMusic smartphone. Nokia 5800 software update v51.0.006 is not a major update, but still it brings some minor bugs fixes, as well as some performance improvements. The Nokia 5800 software update v51.0.006 contains improved Mail for Exchange; Improved video calls; Improved browser; Performance improvements. Other changes noticed include: MusicPlayer refresh is very fast; Browser 7.X; Latest OVI store; Latest OVI Music; Latest OVI contacts; Vibration levels in order, and more clear; RDS seems to be working again; Kinetics slightly improved.If you want to do this update, never forget to make a backup of your info and then type *#0000# on your homescreen to check out the software version you have. To update you need to download the Nokia PC Suite and requires Internet connection. The updates are only available for unlocked smartphone. Those that bought themselves a carrier version of one of the phone will have to wait a few weeks until the update will be available.
The old Nokia 5530 XpressMusic major update V31.0.005 also brings some fixes and performance improvements: Browser improved; fixed: issues with chinese characters; Menu improved; fixed: Dictionary application can't be activated by voice command; Problem solved: phone hang when listen radio; fixed some date and clock problems; FOTA feature improved.
